Echoes II: A Night of Resonance, Myth, and Transformation
Step into a world where body, nature, and technology merge through a feminine, mythological lens. At Einkeller Berlin, Suha Arda Soykan unveils Echoes II, an immersive visual experience that reimagines the human form as a shifting interface—translucent, layered, and in constant flux.
Inspired by scientific visualization aesthetics, Soykan’s work dissolves the boundaries of flesh, time, and perception, revealing a spectral interplay between the organic and the digital. Through pulsating frequencies and evolving transparencies, the exhibit embodies the tensions between body and landscape, signal and silence, mythology and machine.
All visuals are created without AI generation or enhancement, emphasizing the irreplaceable depth of human craftsmanship and artistic intuition.
In this exhibition, titled “Echoes”, I present works that capture ambiguous moments in time, etched into concrete. Though concrete is often seen as a hard and static material, for me, it is a surface that bears the marks of time and labor—a living, evolving canvas. Through both carving and drawing, I bring forth figures—women who appear as workers or activists, situated in industrial spaces—each one embodying traces of a time that is not clearly defined. These figures, fas if emerging from propaganda posters, are portrayed as integral parts of a continuous production process.
